We had to cancel our services because of the flood not outside Greenhills but inside Music Museum.
This shot is taken after 5 to 10 minutes of waterfalls inside the Music Museum hallway. Floors were really slippery. Good thing the downpour happened between our 1st service and 2nd service or it could have been a nightmare to exit 600 people off Music Museum.
I couldn’t take a good shot of how wet it was and the water coming out from the roof and the walls but if you could see the stairs is really wet because the water was flowing down from the balcony. The management had to shut off the electricity to prevent any short circuit of the wires. We thought we could still resume the 630pm service but decided not to for the safety of our members.
This is the first time in the church’s history that we had to cancel services because of facility failure. Well God allowed it so there must be some reason to it. But if you really want to know the reason behind the flooding, here are some of our suspicions:
1. Our drummer JR Magtoto took centerstage to sing a mother’s day song.
2. My rendition of Charice Pempengco’s Whitney Houston’s medley.
3. God is preparing a better place for us somewhere else.
