No Excuse to Not Believe in a God

Romans 1:19-20 English Standard Version (ESV)

19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world,[a] in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

It takes more faith to believe that there is no God than to acknowledge that there is a God and an intelligent designer who created the world. Every day God shows to us His creation – the wonders, the complexity and the function of creation. If I were a scientist, my conclusion would lead to that there is a God.

The Bible said it is made plain to us. Pause for a minute and look at your face. How somebody decided to give all human beings, in general, two eyes, one nose, one mouth and two ears on the side of our face. Consider the position where your body parts are placed. Consider the math formulations to create your face. Somebody might have created me and I am not a product of a big bang accident.

Today, we see a rise of people who either declare that there is no God or that God is dead. Liberal media and educational institutions are pushing for a godless society by denying the existence of God. It is what we call the suppression of truth.

Tim Keller said, ” As long as we suppress the truth, we will never understand who we are, or why the world is as it is. It is not acknowledging the Creator’s right to be the Ruler that is repressive; rather, it is the self-suppression of living in denial of that truth.

Pastor Rice Broocks, best-selling author of God’s Not Dead, shares why God is not dead. Take six minutes to listen to the conversation.
