Books upon books and fads on making your church attractional has been popping out every month. Teaching us how to get people to come into church is the new thing. Nothing bad about this but it won’t be complete if we just get in the front door and do nothing else. What usually happens is that they exit the backdoor.

The goal of every pastor is to move people from “I’m glad you are here” to “We are all in this together.” And to move from that stage means we need to provide environments for this people to get in the fun and join the spiritual family.

And what better way than through small groups. Discipleship is and will always be about relationships.

Programs are cool but that won’t be the sticky stuff that would bring people back to the church.
