Came from a very enlightening and productive seminar with church consultant Paul Barker and he talked about the 5 foundations of a productive team. What hit me during the talk was the traits needed to become a productive leader. This was a study based in the book STRENGTH BASED LEADERSHIP. They interviewed 200,000 followers of great leader
s and here was the common trait they found among productive leaders.
1. BUILDS TRUST.
Trust is the basic foundation of a great team. Without trust – nothing happens. More on that in my next blogs.
2. SHOWS COMPASSION.
A leader is more concern with the well being of their team than the organization.
3. PROVIDES STABILITY.
A leader makes the team secure. He is calm during the storm.
4. CREATES HOPE.
He creates hope. He rallies people to the vision.
