ever since planting Greenhills church, one of the most common comment I get from people is that “YOU ARE SO YOUNG?”

This week has been same – someone hesitated to introduce me as their pastor because I was so young. I also had a counselling session with someone I’ve never met and was surprised to see that she was 10 years older than me. When she saw me she said “YOU ARE SO YOUNG”

Some people hesitate to talk to me or my wife for counsel because WE ARE SO YOUNG!

As I was reading my Bible this morning I chance upon a scripture that says:

“But Lord,” Gideon asked, “how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.” Judges 6:15
The Lord then told me this:

DENNIS YOU ARE YOUNG AND WE CAN’T DO ANYHTING ABOUT IT. BUT LET MY WORD AND MY BIBLE SPEAK THROUGH YOU AS YOU SPEAK TO YOUR GENERATION AND THE GENERATIONS PAST. IT IS IN YOUR WEAKNESS THAT I BECOME STRONG

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1Timothy 4:12
