FROM THIS DAY ON YOU WILL HEAR NO MORE BUTS FROM ME……

Whenever I use the word BUT – what always follows is a STINKING EXCUSE why church planting is hard. Have you ever heard yourself use BUT excuses like:

– “…but our facility is not nice…”
– “…but we are understaffed…”
– “…but i am underpaid…”
– “…but my people don’t follow me…”
– “…but we don’t have enough budget…”
– “…but I’m too young…”
– “…but I’m inexperienced…”

MOSES used the same BUT excuses and it brought him nowhere. God was not going to tolerate BUT excuses. I got the same word from God when I was trying to BUT my way out of the responsibility as the leader of the church. A good friend rebuked me kindly by saying that I was selling myself short. I realized that when I give BUT excuses I sell GOD short of what He can do to, through, in, and for the church.

So if you caught yourself giving some BUT excuses — STOP!
Go to God, ask for wisdom, talk to mentors, find a solution, be pro-active. We can’t have STINKING BUT excuses because we serve a God who is not limited with our BUTS!!!!

TIME TO KICK SOME BUTS!
