Acts 3:1-6
3 One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon. 2 Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.3 When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. 4 Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!” 5 So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them. 6 Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”
This verse pumps my faith up. It shows us that there is someone more powerful than money, and that money cannot but everything. We see this almost everyday. You go to a hospital and you see a rich man doing everything in his own power to save himself and give himself healing but he can’t. Not that he can’t afford his hospitalization but because even the best doctors are limited. I have nothing against doctors, I believe they are God’s agent of healing but some sickness doctors can’t solve.
Silver and Gold I have none!!! To this I can relate. I can’t afford to pay millions for my hospitalization.
But what I have I give to you!!! I don’t have the money but I have something far more powerful. And if only my WORDS CAN SHOUT IN THIS BLOG!!!!
IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST – RISE UP AND WALK!!!!!!!!
All of us need some Holy Spirit anointing this time. If you are reading this, take time to claim your healing. Get out of your house, go to the hospital and visit your sick relative, or friend. Go to their room and lay your hands on the sick and rebuke that sickness and ask Jesus to heal. Jesus is our great physician!!! No sickness is too big for him. But please don’t stop by praying for healing. Share the gospel. Show them how powerful Jesus is and how His love and grace abounds. Here is how the story ends:
7 Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. 8 He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God. 9 When all the people saw him walking and praising God, 10 they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Time to go out there and lay hands on some sick people. God is going to use you mightily.
Prayer: Holy Spirit, fill me up today to overflowing. Let your power flow through me as I minister your words of healing. I pray that signs and wonders would follow me. I also pray that the people I minister today would receive the free gift of salvation as I pray for them. In Jesus name, Amen!!!
