HANGING OUT AND CHURCH GROWTH

One of the messages I preached during my youth ministry days was a sermon entitled HANGING OUT. I believe Jesus loves to hang out. He did that with his disciples often. Whether they were eating out, fishing, doing carpentry work, sleeping, sailing – the Bible gives us a picture of Jesus always hanging out with the 12 disciples.

He appointed twelve — designating them apostles — that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach Mark 3:14

As what a famous preacher said, “ONE LIVING SERMON IS WORTH A THOUSAND EXPLANTIONS.”

Most of the leaders that are helping me today in church are the people I have hang out with. The time that I invested in them did not return empty handed. The saying “Tell me who your friends are and I’ll tell you who you are” is very real in our team. Our Greenhills team are passionate for just three things – “Honor God, Make Disciples and EATING OUT”

As what Pastor Joey, senior pastor of Victory Fort, would often say:

DISICPLESHIP IS RELATIONSHIP.
