Just came back from ministering to our churches in Bacolod and Iloilo. My family and I had a great time just seeing a lot of people getting more involved in advancing God’s kingdom. It’s always a privilege to be invited to our provincial churches. I am always humbled by my fellow pastors who took the challenge of planting a church far from Metro Manila.

Pastor Bong Mabilog, a church planter and lead pastor of our VCF Iloilo church is doing a good job in leading the church to growth. During one of our conversations, I asked Pastor Bong – “What advice can you give to me as a church planter?” and his answer is worth blogging. “As a lead pastor, you are going to make decisions that might not be accepted by some but you have to stick with it.” “I made bad decisions and good decisions – but whether good or bad – you have to make a decision.”

ps: Greenhills church plant update: We are about to finish our negotiation for our kids church facility at OB Montessori. I would be posting the decision this week. Please pray for wisdom and favor as we contnue to negotiate for the place.
