This entry is inspired by my good friend and youth pastor of Victory Fort, LA Mumar.

Yesterday was a very productive day for our GreenHills church plant. We visited the neighboring buildings and schools trying to find the perfect kids facility for our church.

In planting a church, we must put a high premium on our children, kids and youth ministry. The world is investing billions of dollars in advertisement, movies and music to entice this generation. What is the church doing to reach this generation?

To all the clueless church planters – don’t ever make the mistake of not putting high priority on the next generation. It would be a sin to just cramp the kids in one room and let them play with their toys and not take the opportunity to preach and teach Jesus to them.

Don’t ever treat the youth ministry as a department not worthy of the same budget you allocate for the adults at church. It would be a sin to neglect the youth of this generation!

After that whole generation had been gathered to their fathers, another generation grew up, who knew neither the LORD nor what he had done for Israel. Judges 2:10
