CHRIST AND CHURCH GROWTH
There are basically 4 kinds of people in church. These 4 groups of people ask different questions.
4 kinds of questions people ask
1. WHO IS GOD?
2. WHAT CAN GOD DO FOR ME?
3. WHAT DOES GOD REQUIRE OF ME?
4. WHAT CAN I DO FOR GOD?
In discipling someone, the goal is not for them to move from one program to another but to hear what they are asking and pray that they start asking the right question.
In discipleship, every person must COUNT THE COST AND PAY THE PRICE.
Jesus counted the cost of coming here on earth. It was the sacrifice of His life. It was the price he had to pay for the people to receive salvation. It is the same thing for people serious about making Jesus the center of their lives. – COUNT THE COST, PAY THE PRICE.
“Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? Luke 14:28
In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:33
Are you as the pastor of the church counting the cost and are you willing to pay the price to see your city changed with the gospel of Jesus Christ?
