Biblically speaking pastors/ christians should never be broke. NEVER.

Psa. 37:25  ¶     I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
or their children begging bread.

1Tim. 5:17  ¶     The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.

So why are a lot of pastors broke? I cold think of 3 possible reasons

1.    They don’t tithe.
2.    They are not good stewards of their finances
3.    They are not given proper compensation.

The first 2 reasons we could work on. The 3rd reason we could only pray that your church board give you a raise.

So I’ll try to focus on what we can do and leave the things that are out of our hands to God.

We have to understand that “WINNING AT MONEY IS 80% BEHAVIOR AND 20% HEAD KNOWLEDGE.”
