We just had our Wednesday Discipleship Day Kickoff with our very own Chinkee Tan speaking on How to Manage God’s Money. We had 500 people attend the start of our Victory Group Series.

Chinkee challenged the people who would be attending for the next 12 weeks that most of our money problems are rooted in our understanding of stewarding God’s money.

The reason we came up with this talk is to rally our people to be part of Victory Groups ( that is the term we use in Victory referring to small groups/ discipleship groups). The main reason we do what we do is because we want people to be discipled. You can always give a good financial talk but without the follow up and the people reminding you to be good stewards, there is a high probability that you will forget what you learn.

Chinkee Tan is who he is today because of his faith in God, the men who discipled him and pointed him to God. Discipleship in church is high priority if we want to see lasting change in our people. We are excited for the new batch of people who will be part of the discipleship groups in our church!
