It sucks when you make a mistake specially when it is something so obvious. Times when you were not thinking when you make a decision and you feel the effect of your mistake.

Your head is now running with doubts and regrets.

“Why didn’t I see that?”

“It was so obvious that if I decide this – this will happen. Why in the world did I decide to do so?”

Mistakes especially big ones brings you down but I hope only for a moment.

Mistakes happen. Great leaders make mistakes but they learn how to respond to it. They go back to God. They remind themselves to inquire of God before making a move. They accept responsibility. They do something about it.

Abraham made a dumb mistake when he lied that Sarah was his sister. David made a mistake when he committed adultery with Bathsheba, Solomon made a mistake by having 700 mother in laws.

Psa. 55:22  Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.

Lord, make me respond it the right way when I make a mistake. Thank you Jesus for mistakes. I pray it would make me grow in my faith and my walk with you.
