Baby Step 3: DATE YOUR SPOUSE AND TALK ABOUT THE POSITIVE THINGS, MEMORIES AND ATTRIBUTES THAT YOU BOTH HAVE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK.
Most of the time we look at the negative things in a relationship forgetting all the positive things your spouse has done for you. It is always the mistakes and never the right things and most of the time the negative are exaggerated while the positive are set aside.
Homework:
1. Make a list of all the positive things that your spouse do and record it daily.
2. Everytime he/she does something you dont like, overlook it for a week and just write down the positive because for the longest time you have always seen the negative.
3. Set a date and go through the positive list with your spouse. No negative issues on this date, reserve it for next week.
4. After your date, apply baby step 1 again.
