CHANGE!

Stop surviving and start zooming! Am currently reading the book “Survival is not enough” and I can’t put the book down.

I can’t stay the same. SAME IS BORING! We live in a changing world. And the change that is happening is so fast and if you don’t keep up with the change then you’ll be LEFT BEHIND. ( this is not a rapture blog)

before we can manage change but now change manages us. It means I should be ready to change. I must live change. As a pastor I am faced with change.

CULTURE CHANGES
RELATIONAL CHANGES
RESPONSIBILITY CHANGES
LEADERSHIP STYLE CHANGES
MINISTRY CHANGES

We just finish our staff meeting and here are some changes that we are currently working on.

1. Becoming more visual in our teaching and preaching.
2. Working with our creative people.
3. Preparing sermons a month in advance.
4. Changing roles of a senior pastor – need to focus more on teaching and feeding our people and putting energy in areas of our church that needs it.
5. Cutting edge worship
6. leadership trainings. Invest in our leadership!!!!

These are the changes we are currently working on. Once we work this out, change might happen again. That is why there is a need to embrace a lifestyle of change.
