After an intense 8 hour meeting with our pastoral team in Greenhills, two words are of utmost importance for every church leader to remember.

GOSPEL AND DISCIPLESHIP.

The GOSPEL because the power is found in the message. The gospel is the only message we have as a church to transform people. The power is in the message. The gospel of Christ has transformed the lives of people worldwide. It continues to spread like wild fire. If we don’t understand the gospel the message we preach would only be moral teachings. What we need is the life giving message of the gospel.

DISCIPLESHIP because it is God’s command to the church to go and spread the gospel. I love crusades, concerts and big events but the way to produce disciples is by making disciples. The great commission is for the church to make disciples, not converts, not fans, not church attendees.
