A month ago, when Ogie attended our church in Greenhills, he was talking about how excited he was for the upcoming concert they were cooking up. It was going to be a different kind of concert with his wife Regine, Jaya  and other friends who attends their weekly Victory group at their place.

 It is amazing to see some of the best singers we have in the nation come together in one concert that would be for the benefit of the abandoned elderly of the Anawim Lay Missions Foundation, Inc. I am personally excited for this concert because I know this group would be singing not for profit but because of their passion and love for God and at the same time the hundreds of elders who would benefit from this concert.

Last week during our Apostle’s Creed preaching on the church – we shared how the power of church community can help ordinary people achieve great things for God. Through this group 1Walker, we will see a resurgence of quality Pinoy worship music for a night of worship at the same time helping the elderly of our society through the proceeds of the concert. This is the power of #bettertogether.
