Our victory lies in……

I preached last Thursday night at our Youth Camp and saw how the Holy Spirit came nad ministered to our young people. Instead of the scheduled 1 1/2 hour program, the session extended to three hours.

We saw how the Spirit of God convicted hearts and move in supernatural ways that night. But if there was one thing that the Spirit imprinted in my heart and everybody’s heart that night was that

” The secret to a victorious life lies in our weakness and in God’s strength.”

I realized it was not about me. It was all about God and what He can do through me. I realized God is attracted to weakness. He can’t resist those who humbly and honestly admit how desperately they need Him. The Holy Spirit ‘s power comes to those who need it and not to those who think they have no need of it.

Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

The secret is how we rely more on God than our own strength.

Acts 4:13 ¶ Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

To our lifebox team: Bojo, Joash, Dave, Ethel and Chel and all our volunteers – thank you very much for imparting to the next generation. Pics to come!!!
