Who Do You Think You Are?

I’ve realized that a lot of problems we face is because of an identity crisis. Our fundamental problem is that we don’t understand who we truly are as children of God.

With the new wave of books on self awareness, we have seen a trend of people searching for who they really are.

And the answer is very simple. You go back to the one responsible of creating you. That would be a big problem though for people who don’t believe in an intelligent design and look to evolution for answers. Their starting point of identity is that they are a product of some cosmic accident.

You are not an accident. The Scripture tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by God.

Your identity defines who you are. So we get defined by the wrong source – we will always have an identity crisis.

We think money, power, success or fame will define us. But we don’t have to look too far to see that it doesn’t work that way.

An awareness of where we put our identity apart from Christ in relation to who we really are in Christ can we face the issues of our lives head on.
