LIFE SENTENCE

I was listening to a John Maxwell talk when I heard him discussed about the concept of LIFE SENTENCE.

If you would summarize your life in one sentence – what would it be? If you look at the epitaph – our life is summarized in one sentence. What do you want yours to be?51169_1

Life Sentence is the one sentence you want others to say about you when your life is over. It is your legacy.

Here is my LIFE SENTENCE:

A man who made Jesus his hero, his wife Thammie his passion, his kids Alyanna and Mika his joy, his friends his spiritual family, servant leadership his lifestyle, HONORING GOD and MAKING DISCIPLES his mission.

Sociologist Tony Campolo tells of a study in which 50 people over the age of 95 were asked one question: If you could live life all over again, what would you do differently?” Here were the answers:
–    reflect more
–    risk more
–    do things that would live on after I am dead.

Live today my friend – you only have one life to live.
