Stepping out in Faith

A month ago I was challenged to step out in faith and pray for sick people. I am not the kind of person who would approach people and pray for them randomly but lately God has been opening doors and convicting me to step out in faith and not fear to believe for supernatural healing. Sometimes as we grow older in God we tend to forget the child like faith He requires of us to be a vessel of blessing and healing to people.

Anyway this week was a supernatural week and I am praying for God to continually use me to move in audacious faith when it comes to the supernatural.

Last Sunday I was greeting some people during the break in our services when a mother approached me wanting that I pray for her daughter who came to church for the first time. She had a big bump in her upper arm. I forgot the medical term for the sickness but we prayed and asked for God to supernaturally heal her. As we were praying, we literally saw the bump getting smaller and smaller. The girl was in shocked and so was I.

Another stepping out in faith moment came when I was riding the plane when the passenger in front of us, an old man started having the chills. I was thinking if I would stand up and pray for him. I knew at that time that he was in a very critical condition because the chilling he was experiencing was extreme. I prayed and asked God for boldness and approached the old man who was being wrapped with around 3 blankets but was profusely shaking. We prayed for him and ask for God to stop the chill and to help him normalize his body system. The wife said that her husband is also a diabetic so we ask God to heal him of his diabetes. After prayer, in just a few minutes the chilling stopped and he was able to relax and drink water.

After the flight, the wife and their relatives approached us saying thank you because of the prayer of healing we offered.

Thank you Lord for the privilege of spreading the love of Jesus and the power of God to heal people.

Mark 1615 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
