Prayer is so powerful. You can never underestimate prayer. Some people love to underestimate its power. They use prayer as their last option and not their first option. The reason so many people don’t pray as much is because they have faith like an adult.
You know what I mean. As a child, we were bold in asking for things. We feel like there is no budget constraint and we don’t believe in what reality tells us. A child would pray for a car, a house and 100 million dollars as if money grow on trees. A child would also often ask again and again.
Ask like a child, believe like a child, dream like a child, hope like a child. Pray like a child.
Remove the structures and the prayer format. Pray. Communicate. Jump from subject to subject. Speak to God in the most normal ADD way if that is how you communicate.
Mark 10:13-15 13 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.
