If you want to be awakened by the gospel again, you need to do and experience two steps:
1. Be broken.
2. Be awed.
But neither of these things are things you can really do. They are things only God can do for you.
That is why if you asked me when I was saved, I might have to say two thousand years ago when Christ died on the cross for me and gave me a new life. And He even predestined me even if I don’t qualify based on my works and merit. Amazing grace!!!
