Fans of American Idol were shocked when they heard that this season’s winner is Kris Allen but I love how Adam Lambert responded. He was truly happy for Kris. It was a healthy competition and nothing else.

I am always glad to hear of a church thriving and growing. San Juan has around 18 churches in the city. It should be every pastor’s dream to see his fellow pastor and church planter succeed.

Whether it is a church, your business, your school, your office mate – it is still best for you to be happy for others. Jealousy won’t add more members, more money, more opportunities. Being happy for others and challenging ourselves to be better is the right response.

In church planting there are no competing churches. The world is too big for one church to dominate.
