Mark 4:21-23
21 He said to them, “Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand? 22 For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open.23 If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear.”
We, as believers, have been commissioned by God to be a light into the world. All of us possess the power that comes from God and we have experienced the transforming power of the gospel that could change not just a life but a nation.
Do we keep the light to ourselves? Isn’t that such a selfish act? This is a great challenge for the church and for every believer to go back to the purpose of why we planted churches, joined movements or faith-based organizations – because we are called to be the light of the world.
