Life is a Marathon, Not a Sprint!

Hebrews 4:1
Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it.

The way to grind is to come from rest and not exhaustion.

It is a habit that a lot of people need. REST!

We celebrate busyness. We think working 14 to 16 hours a day is what makes you a success. I remember listening to a millionaire talk about how he manages his time to rest by working 8 to 10 hours a day and then spend time with his family, have time to exercise and find a little more balance than the average person.

I’ve made that my goal. I want to be able to grind hard and outwork everyone but not at the expense of my family. We have eliminated tv and facebook stalking to be able to make this happen.

My tip for everyone is not to rest from work but rather work from rest. Be well-rested. Have a good mental health. Think positive and live a positive life by having a balance of work and relationship.

Real rest comes from knowing that God gave us the gift of rest. And He wants us to enter his promise of rest not only every weekend but every day of the year. Remember life is a marathon, not a sprint. Rest and Pace!
