I got a complimentary book from Church so Blessed Senior Pastor Hiram Pangilinan on a book that is very controversial in nature but something that Filipinos love to talk about and experiment on. Pastor Hiram’s book HULA, MULTO, FAITH HEALING Atbp: Expose ng Occult sa Pilipinas, is so timely since there are few ( I could only recall two books) that talks about the occult and supernatural in a biblical Filipino worldview so this book is really encouraging.
From page one I was already hooked with the book. To read so many interesting and testimonies from people who dabbled into the occult and how they all overcame it by the power of Jesus’ name reassures me of the greatness and power of our God.
Sometimes as Christians we are too afraid to move in the supernatural and spiritual warfare. I think it is human nature to resist something we don’t understand thus this book is very crucial for every believer to read so that we will be equipped to take our stand against the devil’s schemes. The Bible says that no weapon formed against us shall prosper which means that there is nothing the enemy can do to defeat us but the question remains – why are so many people and Christians still live defeated lives.
This book by Pastor Hiram answers the questions and equips believers to live a victorious life. I am now all the more equipped to war against the enemy. I highly encourage everyone especially church leaders to buy this book so that we will be equipped to engage the enemy.
