Two Sundays ago, when we were concluding our series on XCHANGE and the topic was about resurrection, I was sensing that God was going to move in supernatural ways. During the preaching, I asked one of our leaders JAY DURUIN to come up on stage because I was going to give an illustration on Romans 8:10-11
Romans 8:10-11 New Living Translation (NLT)
10 And Christ lives within you, so even though your body will die because of sin, the Spirit gives you life[a] because you have been made right with God. 11 The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
I asked Jay if there was any sickness in his body. He told us that he had a heart enlargement that he needed to check with the doctors regularly. We then prayed on the spot and asked the congregation to stand with Jay as we believe that God will bring life to our mortal bodies.
Here is Jay’s story two days after we prayed for him:
I give glory to God for the breakthroughs that I’ve receive from God. Last Sunday, April 8, 2012 at 10:00am Worship Sevice, God healed me. God has the plan to heal me at the time. When the congregation laid their hands on me, I felt something in my heart that was very warm. I sensed that God changed my heart into new one. The next day, I went to the doctor at Healthway Clinic to check my heart’s condition. I went through ECG and X-Ray and the doctor found out that there were NO SIGNS OF THE LEFT VENTRICULAR HYPERTROPHY (Heart Enlargement). Truly GOD HEALS.
