The devil wants us to think he is big – like BIGGER than God. Devil and his demons tries to penetrate our culture with them having the image of omnipotence. Lucifer was cast out of heaven because he thinks he is as big as God.

But if you look at Scripture – we see otherwise.

God never fought with the devil or his demons. God would always send His angels to fight the enemy.

Satan ask God’s permission to test Job before doing any harm to Job.

Demons would plead to Jesus when he would cast them out.

Saying that Satan is as big as God is like saying I could beat Manny Pacquiao in the ring. It is wishful thinking. Jesus even commissioned us to fight the enemy. He has given us the power and authority to do so and He has given us the victory already.

19Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. 20Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
