God vs gods

Reading through Exodus and the stubborn attitude of the Pharaoh is a way for God to showcase who the real God is. Each plaque represented God’s judgment against one of the false gods of Egypt:

1. Nile river – they call it “HAPI” – the source of all life in Egypt. God turned the Nile river into a blood river to render the river desolate and lifeless.

2. Frogs – frogs are the giver of the breath of life in Egypt. God turned the giver of the breath of life into a plaque against the Egyptians.

3. Pharaoh – he saw himself as God and his son as the next incarnate god to succeed him. So when God killed his son, it showed Pharaoh who the real God is.

Question: Are you still holding on to a god/ idol in your life? Time to worship the real God.
