are u up to date?

From the songs that we sing, the clothes we wear, the expressions, the style of preaching and even youth culture. Though most external things have changed, our message remains the same. The word of God is so powerful that up until today, lives of young people are being changed. Iba talaga ang Bible, it encompasses time and culture.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. Matthew 24:35

Now that I’ve settled that the message is the same, the way we communicate and deliver the message must be upto date. Kung baga sa computer, na upgrade mo na ba how you share the message of God’s word to people? Here are some ways to know if you are not up to date:

2. You stand up and preach on the streets, in the bus or the corners of 7 eleven, ministop.

3. You love tract distribution- chick publications pa!!!!

4. Carman for you is the best CCM (Christian Contemporary Music), Don Moen is your fav worship leader.

5. You love using terms like “You have to grow, glow and go for Jesus!”, GPC (God’s perfect choice), LCM (love courtship and marriage),

Romans 1:13-14 (New Living Translation)

13 I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, that I planned many times to visit you, but I was prevented until now. I want to work among you and see spiritual fruit, just as I have seen among other Gentiles. 14 For I have a great sense of obligation to people in our culture and to people in other cultures to the educated and uneducated alike.
Be a student of the culture!!!!!
