I am not writing in codes. The numbers 3482 and 1 is the most important number in Victory as of today. This is the number that counts.

How about the Sunday Service attendance? Isn’t that important. Well if you are out to build a church it might be or you are planning to expand your weekend services but too be engrossed in the Sunday attendance means we are missing the whole point of church planting.

We are not here to count the crowds. We exists to honor God and make disciples. You can have good Sunday numbers but the question remains – how many are empowered disicples? You can’t plant church with just the weekend attendance in mind. It can artificially grow and blow up the next minute.

Jesus spend more time making disicples. He did have a public ministry but the time he spend with the disciples were of utmost importance to Him.

Jesus before ascending to heaven said

Matt. 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Matt. 28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

ONE CHURCH. This is something unique about Victory. We might have 15 to 16 different locations in Metro Manila but we are one church. That means it doesn’t matter if you go to Victory Fort, Pioneer or Makati – we are one church.

When our Ortigas church planted the Metro East church- they send their best leaders to help start the church. It didn’t matter if there church drop in weekend attendance – the number that matters is 1. ONE CHURCH.

When Victory Fort send us out to Greenhills, 80 of Fort’s leaders went with us. It didn’t matter. We are one church.
